Sick of seeing all these commercials about saving money on car insurance? Why not take them up on their offer save some serious bucks, and consume it to pay off some debt?

What the car insurance companies know, is that less than 30% of people shop around for car insurance to get the best deals out there. They also know that if they can prove that they can establish you money on your car insurance, you will switch car insurance companies to do business with them. The truth of the matter is, they are right.

The time spent to shop around and get the best comparison prices is well worth it. Most people do not realize that they could possibly save up to $500 a year on their car insurance if they comparison shop! You could use that money to pay down a credit card or pay off some other high interest debt. It also pays to comparison shop on a yearly basis as prices rise and fall, you could make out in the end on the best deals.

The car insurance companies know that many people are in debt and they are looking for ways to save money. That is why you are seeing all these commercials trying to get your business. There really is a big difference in price quotes with the same kind of coverage from different car insurance companies. The key here is to make sure that you are getting the same kind of coverage. Be careful that you are not losing any coverage that you need to regain that cheaper quote. Call the car insurance companies and go over your current plan and ask them for an exact coverage comparison. You will be tremulous at the various prices for the same coverage.

Car insurance companies are not the only ones that can help you save money. What about your homeowners insurance? What about other insurances? Most people don’t think about checking back on their quotes and shopping around after they already have a plan. You may have got a good deal 3 years ago, but now you might be paying outrageous premiums compared to other insurance companies with the real same coverage.

So, shop around and save yourself some money. You may be able to save enough to splurge a little on yourself for a change! Make an extra payment on any bills, if you can, to save on interest charges and pay the bills off sooner. You’d be surprised at how easy it is to save if you objective keep on top of the car insurance price wars.

As many people can eye from watching the television and reading the newspaper many people are in jeopardy of loosing their American Dream…the homes which people have worked so hard to acquire. We, my husband and I are 2 of those people. We could not afford to prefer are own home until about 4 years ago, we raised our children in small rental apartments or houses. Most of the time with our son and daughter sharing the same bedroom. As the kids got older that wasn’t going to work any more, so my husband and I started working more hours and saving money, cleaning up our credit to perfection. We did everything that we could to get a home for our family.

In Feb. of 2003, we accomplished our goal, we purchased an affordable 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom home in a nice area of town with a graceful fresh water canal in the back yard for $94,000. The home was built in 1975 so it wasn’t perfect, but to us it was the home we hoped and dreamed about for our family to live. It was amazing for the first time we could decorate our house the way we wanted, we didn’t have to live with pasty white walls, we could have pets…WE OWNED A HOME!!!!

Life was typical for our American family. Our teenagers could invite their friends over, there was enough room in the yard to play sports, fish in the canal, or just hang out and relax in lovely sunny Florida.

Until life changed, on August 13, 2004 Hurricane Charlie made a direct hit on our community. Our dream home was damaged but repairable, Thank God, but financially we where in inconvenience. As a result of the storm my husband had lost his job, as a person working in the school system I hadn’t worked all summer so let’s say our reserves were little already. As I already said we are a typical American working class family, living paycheck to paycheck..

After the storm we had lots of help in the community especially from The Salvation Army. When I went to FEMA and asked for assistance…I got NO help at all. I asked if they could support with paying 1 month mortgage payment, they couldn’t…but they where willing to put a very expensive trailer in my front yard. So I contacted my mortgage company and they placed us with special hurricane assistance department, the very nice women advised me to pick up 4 months late in my mortgage and they would help us. By that time, both myself and my husband were working and we could pay the monthly payment but we were slow with about 1 1/2 months mortgage payment. They mortgage company proper advised us to derive 4 months behind and since we where at the mercy of those helping us in our community we listened. Got a subordinate mortgage which wouldn’t have to be paid until the end of the 30 year loan and everything was wonderful!!!

A couple months later we got a notice stating that our mortgage would be going up $150 per month because of the homeowners insurance and property taxes increasing. That was alright we could afford it, my husband and I where working steadily. We had both found better paying jobs…life was nice again. The wonderful American dream had come back, going to work, fixing nice meals for the family, going for weekend outings…a simple life but that’s all we wanted.

Financially, life was going good, so it was time to correct another plight that occurred as a result of the hurricane, we had gotten behind on the credit cards and decided it was time to refinance the house and pay off that debt, we paid off the car payment and figured that since we had stable employment we could handle the increase of our mortgage. We where advised by a different mortgage company that it was a good choice to pay off our debts, increase our credit score, etc., etc. Of course when we refinanced our credit accumulate wasn’t that titanic…you see the prior mortgage company had advised us to get 4 months late and it appeared that we where in pre-foreclosure at that point in time.

As I stated before, we could have paid the mortgage prior to becoming 4 months behind, we did not pay under advise from a mortgage professional. When we refinanced we ended up with a very high adjustable interest rate…but it was worth it cause we got our debts paid off. The mortgage did increased and life was nice…for a while…until I lost my edifying paying job. Luckily we had a exiguous cushion in the bank and I was able to collect unemployment, I took the first job which would hire me at a much lower pay rate and we honest started living the best we could…with a few cut backs. But, you got to do, what you gotta do…THAT”S LIFE!

At the end of 2006 we received another letter from our mortgage company stating that we would have an increase in our escrow, another $100 per month…our mortgage has basically double from it’s original amount. Unfortunately, our income has not and with the brand of gas, food, electricity, and everything needed to survive increasing I decided to look for a better paying job. In April 2007, I found a full time job which would pay me more per hour and would help offset the increase in our mortgage. I knew it wasn’t going to make me rich, but I figured it would be a help. I had to do the right thing to pay my bills properly.

Life was getting rough with the increase of gas prices, and my husbands job requiring so powerful driving. My mind was set on…we need more money, we need a better income, we need to do the right things to keep our American Dream going.

Heres where the nightmare starts, I started my new job in April, not unprejudiced a job but a step toward my career, you see I have been going to college for over 10 years trying to get my teaching degree…the other dream. This child care center was highly recommended to me it offered a higher income and unbelievable work atmosphere…it sounds great doesn’t it? By the end of May most of the children graduated the program and would be heading to kindergarten, the school attendance dropped considerably as a result I have been working only 30, 24, 12, even 3 hours a week a my wonderful highly recommended FULL TIME job.

In the mean time my husband lost his job and was denied unemployment (that’s another myth for another time). As a result we have been living off of next to nothing for the past several months. He will actually start working next week at a lower paying job that he is overqualified for but it’s better then nothing.

As I sit here today, we are almost 4 months behind on our mortgage payment. I have spoken to my current mortgage company several times trying to get assistance. I have spoken to numerous other mortgage companies trying to refinance or salvage information to know and understand what to do. I have searched for a new job, second job any way to make additional income. My husband has been looking for a job, traveling miles spending money like crazy on gas. I have contacted several social service agencies in our community with very little success. We make too much money, we don’t make enough money, they don’t help with mortgages, I can’t go rent another house yet cause I still own this one. When I asked the mortgage company “How long do I have before I have to leave this house? ” that can’t say it verbally, I have to wait until I get the letter in the mail.

My husband and I are slowly becoming physically and yes mentally sick, we can’t sleep. I go to sleep crying, I wake up crying then have to pull myself together to go to work…for how many hours? When will they tell me to go home, do I bring lunch or not? Do I go home and pack my belongings or will some miracle happen where we will be blessed with enough money to pay at least one month of the mortgage and terminate or at least slow down the foreclosure process.

Will we become homeless? Thank God the kids are young adults and have their own places to live. What will happen to my kids pictures, the keepsakes I inherited from my grandparents? Who will take my pets? How mighty of my life will I fit in my mini van?

The American Dream…we work so hard, then what happens? Does our government really realize that the working class people need help? Will they make the upright choices with the mortgage reforms to help the working people? Will these changes happen soon enough so maybe, just maybe, I won’t loose my home?

What’s the answer to this nightmare? WHEN will it END? HOW will it Ruin?

Are we impartial some of those obscene lives that people are taking about?

DO WE JUST STOP TRYING TO SUCCEED!!!???? And give up on our AMERICAN DREAM…

Used trucks are at a premium right now in this economy. The cost of buying a brand new truck anywhere is just a bit too much to swallow for many small businesses, farmers and car buyers. Even in markets such as Sioux Falls, used trucks are a hot item.

According to the Keloland Automall statistics, the most searched truck for sale is a old Ford F150. The Keloland Automall covers the Sioux Falls, Sioux City, and Northwest Iowa region, so that’s quite a big territory of people looking for used Ford F150s for sale.

Before you buy a used truck in Sioux Falls, or anywhere, you need to make sure you know exactly what you need it for. That will determine the type of truck you buy. Are you hauling items, hauling trailers, or fair driving around town? Do you need dually? What about GPS? There are many options in used trucks, so make sure you know what you need and then develop a list of what you want.

After you have your list, call your insurance agent and derive out how much insurance will cost on the different trucks you are looking to buy. You don’t want a irascible surprise after you’ve already bought your truck. This is one thing many buyers don’t think of doing. But different vehicles have drastically different insurance premiums. It doesn’t harm to check that out before you buy a new to you vehicle.

Next check the safety ratings and consumer reviews. There are many different websites that review vehicles or have consumer reviews. I like reading Consumer Reports for their unbiased reviews. I usually slit whittle down my list after reading reviews.

If you don’t need a big engine, then I would recommend against buying a used truck with one. They are gas guzzlers. It’s painful filling your tank when gas is near or over $4 a gallon.

Also consider if this will be a family truck. Extended cabs are nice, but can be a sincere pain to find a parking spot. You have to park diagonally else the back end sticks out quite a ways.

Finally you are ready to read dealership reviews and find the best place to seize from. Customer service is stout and I can’t stress that enough.

Develop sure you do your due diligence and you’ll make a sizable used truck seize without any buyer’s remorse.

Search trucks for sale in Iowa City by looking for Iowa City dealerships.

General Motors India is thinking of concentrating more on the small car segment. Compare to the mid-size cars, the Chevrolet small cars are making great sales in India. Now the car manufacturer has decided to sell more small cars compared to mid-size and executive sedans and high-end SUVs.

For instance, the mid size Optra’s market share fell from 12.6 percent to 3.04 percent from April 2008 to February 2009.

The car manufacturers are experiencing reliable growth in the small car segment and therefore continue to focus on them. Chevrolet Spark, one of the popular cars from its stable saw a growth of 4.14 percent in February 2009 against 3.65 percent in April 2008.

According to auto industry analysts, GM has moved its focus in view of the fact that 75 per cent of India’s passenger car market is dominated by compact cars. The car manufacturer is now concentrating at the volume rather than the value aspect in order to push the sales.

It’s no secret that Hyundai has sought to trounce Toyota in the cutthroat business of mid-size family sedans. With the 2009 Hyundai Sonata, they may not have won the war but they’ve certainly won this particular battle. Their goal of conservative yet stylish bodies that encase reliable and comfortable cars is epitomized in the original Hyundai Sonata.

This year, Hyundai has made only minor updates to the exterior of the Sonata but has crafted an all new, upscale interior cabin reminiscent of the Lexus. A unusual center stack, the center console and the gauges have been redesigned to look elegant and up to date yet user-friendly. Wood grain accents tasteful color combinations and alloy trim. You’ll only find the leather wrapped shift knob on the V-6 but on it and all other models you’ll see a tilt steering column, leather wrapped steering wheel, six speaker stereo system with CD and MP3 player, 60/40 split rear seatback, auxiliary audio jack and satellite radio. You’ll have options like an 8-way power driver’s seat; steering wheel mounted audio controls and a trip computer.

Under the hood you’ll find that Hyundai has given the Sonata more power while raising fuel economy, a winning combination even if gasoline wasn’t bouncing up and down like a tennis ball. The GLS and SE contain the 2.4 liter, 4 cylinder, 175 horsepower engine with a 5 urge manual transmission. The Limited edition will come standard with a 5 speed automatic transmission. Whichever model you choose, you can opt for the 3.3 liter, V-6 249 horsepower engine with a 5 speed automatic. The MPG ratings are impressive; 22/32 on the 4 cylinder and 19/29 for the 6 cylinder.

As for the quality of the ride experience, you’ll pick up very few cards that give you a smoother, cloud-like ride than the Hyundai Sonata. You’ll get competitive acceleration; you won’t be scorching the pavement but it has the get up and go you need for fast freeway entrances. The Sonata is very responsive to driver commands, has precise handling and corners nicely with very small body roll due to superb suspension.

The Sonata has anti-lock brakes, stability and traction control, front seat side impact bags, full length side curtain bags and active front head restraints. It earned 5 out of 5 stars with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s highest rating in break tests.

You can find the cheapest car insurance that suits you, if you know what questions to ask when you are getting a quote. A good place to begin looking is on the internet, do a search for automobile insurance, make a list of phone numbers from companies that have names you recognize, and call to get a quote from a live person.

When you call the representative if they do not go through a list of questions with you, start asking them what they give discounts for. Most companies will give you a better rate if you have a clean driving record and if you are over the age of twenty-five.

Be sure to ask the agent if they give a lower price because you enjoy a home. Also, ask if the plot in which you live will have an attain on your cost. If you live in a high crime state, your cost may be higher. But, if you have an alarm on your car, it will bring the price down a itsy-bitsy, no matter where you live.

Another good examine is does the company give any discounts if you have a college degree. Some automobile insurance companies occupy that you are more responsible if you have an education higher than high school.

If you belong to a credit union, you can get a better rate too. This is on the part of the bank itself and not the insurer. Check with the company that you work for, sometimes you will be able to get into their group and get a better rate.

If you do not beget a car yet and are trying to get an idea of rates retain in mind that the type and color of the car you bewitch will affect the price you will pay. A sports car in red will cost more than a mid size car in black. It is possible to find the cheapest car insurance around, you just have to look around and know what to ask.
